Prayer concerns and praises to add to his weeks list: 1) Andrew Clauson now has full time work (if you tally up the two part time) still in his clerks position and now as home repair/maintenance. 2) Pray for Audrey, especially as she is traveling and in the wake of one dearly departed. 3) Be in prayer for Christophers father who, afflicted with COPD and cancer, is now also stricken with the onset of dementia. We feel confident that this is end of life matters and the family needs great wisdom to navigate the whole matter. 4) Thanksgiving for Mark La Roi Browns ministry amongst us and his safe arrival back Pittsburgh (the RPs equivalent of Islams Mecca; bonus trivia: Beaver Falls is the RPs equivalent of Islams Medina; the more you know, and all that.) Of course pray for our brothers successful and blessed completion of these his final studies and labors of his seminary days. Mark is a gifted and gracious man and, though a new friend to our congregation, already a very dear one. 5) For Christopher himself who, having had a procedure today, was given no significant results. While this is comforting in that no obvious problems were identified, it is also frustrating as this means no clear path of treatment nor knowledge of that with which hes afflicted. Further studies/results will be discussed at Aug. 20ths scheduled follow-up appointment. Here and then hell have disclosed to him the findings of the tissue samples taken in todays study. Pray for relief of these ails or Gods grace sufficient for the trial.
