Prayer for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Africa: Father, we thank You for answering the prayers of the Ethiopian church that You sustained during years of severe persecution. We come before You with hearts of thanksgiving acknowledging that You are greater than the Marxist regime, which collapsed, and You have restored democracy in Ethiopia.* We are here to stand with our Ethiopian brothers and sisters, thanking You for the unity among believers, which has been forged through suffering. The Orthodox Church, Catholics, evangelicals and other Christian groups are uniting under the Headship of Jesus. O God, vindicate and defend their cause against an ungodly people…from deceitful and unjust men who have targeted their nation for Islamization. You are the God in whom Your children take refuge. Darkness cannot put out the light of the Gospel. Greater is He that is in the followers of Jesus than he that is in the world!
