Prayer warriors...please stop and say a prayer for my Uncle Joey and Aunt Nan, and Justine and Julia as well as my daddy and mother. They are all at Aunt Nans bedside in Texas...Uncle Joey has had to make the hardest decision of his life in turning the ventilator off on his wife of 44 years. I am so thankful that daddy is with his brother. How is it you hurt so bad for a couple you havent seen since you were 6 months old? After talking to him, it feels as if I have known him my entire life and not a day has passed without them in it. I know without a doubt that God has perfect timing for everything and the relationships that have been renewed through Aunt Nans sickness has been a magnificent answer to so many prayers. I will say it again...Gods timing is PERFECT. NOTHING can touch that. NOTHING can change that. No matter the what ifs or the whys, the guilt, the pain, the hurt, we will never understand some things in life but we do know His plan is already written out. He knew all of this was going to play out the way it has the day my daddy was born, the day uncle Joey was born, and the day Aunt Nan was born. How wonderful it is as Christians to realize we have these hopeful, profound words to comfort us: Until we meet again. Our God cares about us. No matter what we are going through, he never leaves us. Scripture tells us God knows what is going on in our lives and is always faithful. Isaiah 43:2 says When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. I know that either way, whether she pulls through this or if she leaves her worn, broken, physical body to be with Jesus, it is Gods will. We of course pray for healing BUT how can we be upset with God if He calls her home? SHE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY HEALED!! Not just partially healed...no pain...no broken bones...no fluid on her lungs...no kidney failure...NOTHING BUT A 100% COMPLETELY NEW BODY that will experience nothing but pure joy and happiness for ALL OF ETERNITY! I also ask that you all pray for traveling graces for me and the kids as I am trying to get my ducks in a row so we can be there if she is called home. She has been off of the machine for almost 2 hours and is holding her own but her breathing is very shallow and her heart rate is all over the monitor. They are giving her morphine to keep her comfortable. Thank you all for the prayers already lifted. She is still able to hear because tears streamed down her face when she heard her granddaughter, Justine Kelleys voice. This is their only sons daughter. He was killed on September 5th in a horrible accident. My daddy reassured her we would take care of Uncle Joey for her and that he would be ok. It is definitely reassuring in us knowing she knows The Lord and has secured her place in Heaven.
