Prayers needed for a sweet little buff colored female that Ill call Serena tonight until Wanda reminds me what she named her. Short term memory ya know and a LONG day at the Spay Neuter Assistance Program (S.N.A.P.) clinic hosted by Rustic Hollow Today. Little Serena came through the clinic today. She was going to go to another home due to circumstances of her caregiver, but it was found when she was spayed that she had one large kitten (not alive) and a very pronounced prolapsed rectum. (due to trying to birth a kitten she could not birth). This little one would be dead in a few days if she had not come through the s/n clinic today. She has been altered and repaired, but she is going to need a special diet and a lot of bed rest for some time. And tonight, it is still touch and go for this little one. Please send your positive energy and prayers her way for strength to regain and heal. Prayers for her tonight. She is awake, but weak and has the most beautiful eyes. She is in a kennel in my office with me tonight so I can check on her often and keep her warm with heated towels. Thanks for thinking of her tonight. Thirty two cats were altered today.
