Praying for conviction, For legitimate repentance, Asking God for correction, For His Holy plan of redemption. I used to dream of hope, Now I see so much more, is it Him or I that’s knocking, who is really at the door? Lost in all the glamour, The tickling of peoples ears, Forgotten in all the excitement, what was the reason for being here? Where are all the watchmen? Where are all the barking dogs, How could this have really happened? If we were within the Kingdom walls? Corruption of the elect, Struggles for power and more, Is it really too faint to hear, The one whom is standing at the door? Smiling faces are so many, And laughter all around, Every noise like a clanging symbol, Where are all the watchmen to be found? Woe to all the watchmen, Who have ignored all the signs, They sit so high in the tower, And are deaf to every cry. Woe to all the watchmen, whom have fell asleep on the wall, Aren’t they supposed to be accountable? For each of their brothers falls?
