(Hebrews 4:14 ASV) let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised: (Hebrews 10:23 ASV) Introduction: Profession- a calling requiring specialized knowledge and often ling and intensive academic preparation Professional- done or given by a person who works un a particular profession Professionalism- Professionalism is acting in accordance with common norms of professional etiquette, behaviors and responsibilities for your profession Failures of a profession •If a person called is not willing to response •If a person called is not teachable •If a person called have backslider •If a person called became insane •If a person called became a rebellious •If a person called is killed/dead Proposition: What covers our profession? 1. Personal growth •knowledge Prayer Worship Fellowship Faith Love Holiness Righteousness Discovering/activating the gifts of the Holy Spirit 2. Soul winning •preaching Praying the sick Salvation of the spirit 3. Discipling •salvation/converting of the soul 4. Acknowledging •ordination Accepting of ones calling 5. Sending •releasing missionaries to the harvest field expanding the Kingdom of God trough planting churches 6. Blessing •equipping Impartations to the body of Christ Conclusion: But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak: for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister. And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end: that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
