Precious Gift of God Today I am dedicating my entry to a beautiful precious little baby girl born only yesterday. She has been long awaited by her mom and dad, sincere, respectable and hardworking man and woman of God, labouring for the Master in His Vineyard. Yesterday after years of waiting and expectation she made her appearance. Precious beloved gift of the Father God, so much loved by your parents, you are so welcome! We can’t wait to meet you. When you have waited for a long time before you are blessed with a child you are very most likely to appreciate that child and give your all in caring and bringing her up. That is why it is so sad to see the way some parents not only neglect their children, but even turn their backs and desert them. Some just walk away, never intending to come back. Some remain in their lives, but add no benefit to them at all. Some parents don’t realize that once a baby is born to them, they are responsible to do for that child as much as is in their power to do. Your child is an extension of yourself. That part of you that will live on in the next generation. That part of you that will continue to bless the world as you did. That part of you that will earn you a royalty type of reward in heaven. The good that you do will live on in the works you left on earth and the lives of the children you raised. So why would you turn your back on your children, beloved? Even when you split from a spouse or a partner, your duty is to ensure that the child/children you have together are properly looked after and shielded as much as possible from the traumatic effects of your split up. The worst case scenario must be when a parent takes the life of his/her own child. We see misguided souls killing their children and committing suicide afterwards. Only God can know the terrible tortured state of the mind of an otherwise loving parent which causes them to carry out such a dastardly act. We need to pray that well be able t recognize these tendencies in the lives of those around us and stop them escalating to this terrible irreversible crescendo. Are you reading this today, beloved? Know that your children are precious gifts from God. Many would give anything to have one of their own. If you do need help, please seek counsel from men and women of God and from institutions set up to help you. Your children belong to God and He will ask you how you filled in the guardian role at the end of time. Please don’t disappoint Him. We speak tomorrow. Shalom
