Preparing lunch at chennai after a long time. These days my cookings are always for dinner. Missed lunches. One norm in our current Indian society that irritates me is, strong, independent and professional women should not cook. Cooking is not just making food, its just not an art, its not just passion but its a meditation for me. Almost all beautiful people both men and women I have met are great cooks. Carmen Lai From Italy taught me pasta and lasagne, Miriam from Milan taught me pizza, varety from Canada taught me bread making, Tara gave me tips for making muffins, I taught Tara pakoras and samosas :))) all these are more professional women I have met, PhDs and CEOs. My friends know that without cooking a great part of me will die. Am not an expert but to keep ur self alive and passionate one need not be an expert. My friends who enjoyed my cooking and taught me cooking like this status.
