President Speech on 25.01.2014: Populist ANARCHY cannot substitute governance. Excise Duty: Is Central Govt.Tax on MANUFACTURED goods. Zinc Plating of Steel: Is adding 7-15 microns of Zinc on steel surface for protection,was MANUFACTURING under Central Excise Act 1944, since last 25 years. Hence was attracting Central Excise Tax.This process is mainly done by small scale industries for large suppliers of steel products,used in automobile,general engineering industry. Galvanizing Of Steel: Is adding above 40 microns of Zinc on steel surface for protection,was NOT MANUFACTURING till The Budget of 2011, presented by Shri.Pranab Mukherji on 28.02.2011. Mainly done by medium and large industries.No tax was applicable till 28.02.2011. Governments ANARCHY: If you add 7-15 microns of Zinc it is manufacturing you pay Tax.If you add more than 40 microns of Zinc it is not manufacturing you do not pay Tax. This is ANARCHY in the dictionary of AAM Aadmi.
