President flags off 200 Kyambogo students for agriculture course in Israel, says Africa’s problem is wrong attitude *Joins Wakiso Youth to celebrate International Youth Days *Contributes Shs 100m to Mt Zion Prayers Centre President Yoweri Museveni today flagged off 200 students who will attend a skills apprenticeship course in agriculture in Israel. The President in Uganda people manage to be poor yet the country is rich. “Israel is a desert but produces more food and products than people with more. Uganda is a paradise but has food shortages.” He said there was a need to upscale remuneration for professors, lecturers and tutors to immunise them against seeking greener pastures. “The government created factory land in Namanve and Luzira, but the last time I checked, there was a primary school. Schools are important but we need factories,” he explained. He said the problem of Africans was a wrong attitude. President Museveni postponed the launch of Youth Livelihood programme to October after youth protested contradictory statements by their leaders. Afterwards, the President joined Wakiso Youth who gathered at the district Headquarters in celebrations to mark International Youth Day. He also made a stopover at Masjid mosque, planted tree and contributed Shs 20m towards construction. He then concluded the day by attending prayers at Mt Zion Prayers Centre Bukalango where he contributed Shs 100m to the Church. He broke ground for the proposed Eucharistic Shrine.
