Presidential Debate conclusion: 1) Well done organizers on how you split the groups. Wednesday group were a complete waste of time making a secondary school debate session look more intellectual. You could have added Sinkamba to the Wednesday group though. 2) Green Party President is a bigger joker than Muliokela! They should exchange places on the ballot paper. 3) If Zambia politics resembled that of the West and Europe Chipimo would be the leading candidate based on his issue based approach and cry for quality leadership, as opposed to our tribal voting here in Zambia. 4) Dont blame EL for not showing up, he would have been slaughtered. Not just due to his inability to articulate issues when not addressing a rally like crowd but coz being in the current ruling party hed have had to deal too much assault from the opposition candidates. Those promises hes been making in his campaigns as if hes also in the opposition wouldnt have been tolerated by the other candidates on the podium. His campaign team made the smart choice. 5) Edith Nawakwi actually has data. 6) General Godfrey Miyanda was too busy to attend the debate. The Heritage Party is actually campaigning??? They must have kicked off this same evening. 7) Zambians wont care about whatever the candidates said this evening, their minds have already been made up.
