Press Release - Interfaith COVA unequivocally condemns the inhuman terrorist attack on children in Pakistan and the Sydney Siege 17th December 2014 Press Release Interfaith COVA unequivocally condemns the inhuman terrorist attack on children in Pakistan and the Sydney Siege Interfaith Forum COVA is shell shocked over the Taliban’s heinous and most violent terrorist strike on 16th December 2014 on an army school in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar taking lives of nearly 141 people, mostly children and condemns in strongest possible terms the unspeakable terror attacks and barbarity against children and teachers of the school. It is unjustifiable and unforgivable brutality. We appreciate the gesture of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi ji asking all the Schools to observe 2 minutes silence to condole loss of life of innocent children and teachers. Our Hearts go out to parents & families who have lost their loved ones in these ghastly attacks. We extend our deepest sympathies, prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of terror attack in Army School in Peshawar and the Sydney Siege by a self styled Muslim Cleric gunman and to the victims of terror attacks that took in other places in the world and pledge to work harder to combat terrorism and extremism and to promote peace and stability in the world. We urge all governments especially the government of Pakistan not to promote and provide shelter to any terrorist group and immediately ban all terrorist organizations and take appropriate action to make them totally inoperative and incapable of causing any harm whatsoever to anyone anywhere in the world. We also urge that action against terror groups should not end up harming innocent people particularly women and children in the areas of operation against terrorists as it generally happen in such situations.
