Press Release DEMANDING JUSTICE FOR 295 SELECTED TEACHERS :SUDAN. Newly Selected Teachers Association Rajouri (NSTAR) taking serious note over the delay of their appointment and shortage of teaching staff in the district. Jagdish Sudan, executive member of NSTAR said that it is unfortunate that we have selected by SSRB two years ago and till date we are suffering without appointment and facing in convinces in day to day. Sudan said that there is about 1078 teacher’s shortage in the district which creates crises for the education system in the district. It is pertinent to mention here that Rajour district is the worst sufferer of the turmoil prevailing in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and educated youth suffered heavily on account of delay in appointment. SSRB issued advertisment of 295 teacher posts for district Rajouri in the year 2010,the unempolyed youth joys know no bounds on seeing such huge vacancies after a pretty long time, but our dreams got shattered when honourable high court quashed the selection list on the ground that selection committees were not in tune with laid down recruitment norms .the selection committees were nominated by B.D.Bhagat the then chairmain of ssrb. The future of 295 selected candidates is in jeopardy and are moving pillar to post for want of justice. Sudan said that we have lost two precious years of our prime youth and most of the selected candidates crossed upper age limit hence ineligible for any government service. SUDAN demanding justice for 295 selected teachers of district Rajouri and their family who are facing unbelievable problems for last two years without any fault.
