Press Release for 9-23-14 Event Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots At its September 23 general meeting held at the Lakewood American Legion, Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots unanimously endorsed candidates for public office whom best represent FIRST PRINCIPLES, founding principles for the new republican government of the United States of America. These principles also constitute the foundation of TEA Party beliefs. FIRST PRINCIPLES include: Limited Government; Reduce Taxation; Free-Market Economy; Individual Liberty; Personal Responsibility; Military Preparedness and a Strong National Defense; and Constitutional Sovereignty and Integrity. Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots endorses the following candidates for public office: Tom Reed (R-NY, 23rd Congressional District), New York State: Rob Astorino, Governor; Chris Moss, Lieutenant Governor; Catherine Young, Senate; Andy Goodell, Assembly; Chautauqua County: Russell Payne, Sheriff; Jeffrey Piazza, Esq., Family Court Judge.
