Press Release on ASEAN-New Zealand Ministerial Meeting ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® The ASEAN-New Zealand Ministerial Meeting was held at 8.30 am on 10 August at the MICC-1 in Nay Pyi Taw as a sideline of the 47th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting being held in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It was attended by the ASEAN Foreign Ministers led by Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Rt. Hon Murray McCully. The ASEAN-New Zealand Dialogue Coordinator Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Lao PDR Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith and the New Zealand Foreign Minister co-chaired the meeting. The meeting recorded the successful implementation of ASEAN-New Zealand Scholarship Programme, Youth Entrepreneurs Exchange Programme, Natural Disaster Management Programme and Agriculture Programme, and coordinated the holding of a ceremony to mark the 40th Anniversary of the ASEAN-New Zealand Dialogue Partners’ relations.
