Pressure tested the Cr250 engine tonight and we have leaks. One leak of concern is the transmission is being pressurised. This is either coming from the crank collar or the powervalve pivot and drive shaft. I am not surprised at the transmission leak considering the overall engine configuration. Its not a great design. They have a collar on the crank that is a slip fit inside the seal so there isnt really and decent sealing surface. We found leaks at the reed block but I think we have sealed those. Just have to wait 24 hours for the 3 bond sealer to set before I can carry out another pressure test. Sorry to say Mike but I dont think it will be ready this weekend unless I can get these leaks fixed.
