Pretty much the only upshot of a celebrity suicide is that for a few days each year, we all - the media, fans, civil society, politicians and plebs - come together and make noises of an empathetic and understanding nature about mental illness ... that its a chronic illness, not a character flaw or a lifestyle choice, as an associate put it. And then they forget again., quoth the same associate. Theres also more to the spectrum of interesting psychological makeups than just Depression, too.
