Pretty sure I just saw the most inspirational, unexpected and sad thing ever. I was just driving along the road and saw a bird just standing in the middle of the road and as I got closer noticed that it was trying to see if its friend (another bird of course) was alive and well.. It wasnt. The bird got scared as I came closer in my work truck and out of nowhere just picked up his friend and carried him to safety and gently plopped him down on the side of the road out of the way of all the traffic while trying to nudge him with his little beak as if to say You alive bro? Cmon man get up and lets go fly somewhere I watched the bird for a good 5 minutes on the side of the road and when he realised his mate was gone, he literally just collapsed next to the bird and just sat there in silence
