Prevent Ebola by washing yo hands after handshakes, before u eat anything, avoid non essential flights to affected countries, avoid eating bush meat for now, if u are a health worker, always maintain barrier nursing(avoid direct contact with patients). Natural reservoirs for Ebola are fruit bats, gorillas, chimpanzees, . Infection can be thru contact with secretions or body fluids of infected persons through wounds and cuts. Eating of contaminated game meat can also transmit the virus. Symptoms include headaches, fever, body pains, blood in urine, bleeding frm eyes, ears and generally failure for blood to clot . Death occurs in less than a week. Note that there is no vaccine or treatment for Ebola. Since outbreak started in Guinea, Liberia, and serra Leone, abt 700 people have died.
