***Price Drop Alert*** (3.99-->0.99) Monster Jam is a great book for early elementary kids. The plot revolves around Monsters who have a band and are faced with the dilemma of their lead singer not being able to sing for the big gig. I like how the book demonstrates brainstorming when we are faced with problems, and not all solutions work out. Text is highlighted line by line to facilitate flow of reading for beginning readers, which is great for kids needing to improve on efficiency and accuracy. It also keeps kids on line if they have either physical or visual issues that keep them from reading in a sequential manner. There are a couple of interactive games in the story, but they do not interfere with the flow of the book.
