Pride and Responsibility The facts are simple… One Israel Fund - TopicsExpress

Pride and Responsibility The facts are simple… One Israel Fund is the “go to” address for the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria. In the field of Security and Emergency Medical, most have been affected by One Israel’s Fund involvement. We have succeeded in building a network, a team, indeed, a family that works together to continue to build, to strengthen and grow in all ways. We say this with pride. In the last five years we have significantly upgraded the preparedness of the yishuvim. They now have better equipment and training with which to respond to terrorist infiltrations. Our work has not gone unnoticed, to say the least. Communities along the Gaza Border are turning to One Israel Fund due to our successes, and lately a few Golan communities have asked for our assistance as well, due to the tense situation along their border. The IDF Home Front Command is aware of our efforts and has been learning from our projects in the Civilian Emergency Response field. Along with this wonderful news also comes the responsibility of maintaining these accomplishments One Israel Fund’s solutions in the world of security and emergency medical response is a result of achdut… unity - unity between various groups working together in strengthening our communities; unity amongst the security chiefs; and unity with the suppliers of this vital equipment. So like I mentioned before, One Israel Fund has become a network, a network that gets the job done. This is one of the reasons One Israel Fund is the premier organization, both in Israel and North America in working on behalf of and with the yishuvim. Our success is not only supplying the communities with their needs, but also in connecting so many people, who do not live in Israel, with our daily lives, challenges and thank G-d, successes. This too, is one of the many missions of One Israel Fund, and we do this with pride. As always when I take my trips abroad, and discuss the funding of security projects in Judea and Samaria, I am met with…”it’s quiet there, isn’t it?” Yes, it is… relatively…that is if you do not consider the daily “stonings” and molotov cocktails “noise”. Yes, it is, if you do not consider the probing of communities by terrorists a tragedy waiting to occur. Yes, it is, if you do not consider the destruction and theft of herds, or as I term it, agricultural terror, “bothersome”. Yes, it is, if you consider the occasional shooting at our vehicles and our people to be normal. If we compare today to the Oslo War of 2000, then yes… relatively speaking, it is more quiet… at this point, but that’s the hardest part. Because One Israel Fund’s efforts are helping to keep it quiet. That’s precisely the point. The more equipment and training we provide, the longer it will remain quiet. The hardest part of our job is to raise funds when it’s quiet but that’s the most important time to do so. Let’s be proactive and prevent terror, rather than reactive, and only act after the terror, only after heinous results, and work together at keeping our people safe. And that is where One Israel Fund comes in. Get involved, join me and let’s keep it as quiet as possible…NO MORE JEWISH VICTIMS. https://oneisraelfund.org/operationnomore/
