Printer stopped working today for no good reason. Ink and paper lights flashing alternately and couldnt do anything. Official website and manual no use - quote unknown problem - contact supplier. So did a bit of digging on tinternet and found that this is basically built in obsolescence! Apparently most printers have an inbuilt counter that you cant see and once it reaches some nominal number the printer simply stops working. Well I found a bit of software which enabled me to reset the protection counter and hey presto - it works perfectly again. Bastards!
