Prior to commercial fishing my background includes about 15 years building missile tracking systems while living in California. In 1969 myself and 8 other people started our own company building these systems. When I left the company in 1979 to come home and fish we had about 160 employees. After we bought Oceantronics I wanted to get back into building these systems. Since 1998 Oceantronics has supplied about $25M worth of systems to Pacific Missile Range Facility. The following picture is the inside of a Mobile Range Safety System built at Oceantronics. This system cost was about $6M.
