Probably gonna start another one of those hot debated threads with this statement but I just have to say it. I have been a member for a month now. I have made posts to try and help people, I have learned things from other peoples posts and yes I have poked fun at a few and always indicated it was in humor. I was going to ask some of my friends and family that enjoy this lifestyle also to join. Changed my mind on that now. This group is large and diverse just like a real life population anywhere. It is also as divided. I do not like contention, I do enjoy diversity. Living in a free country I feel people should be able to think, live, speak and feel the way they need to. But I dont see that here, I see people that cant wait to condemn, that insist their way of seeing the world to the only right one AND insist on telling everyone else they are wrong. This sniping, back biting, narrow minded, divisiveness and contention takes a lot away from the group. A whole lot. What could be very educational, stimulating and valuable dialogue becomes something stressful and very common. If I stay or leave will make little difference to the other 50000 of the group or at the rate it is going to me either. But I will leave ya with a parting thought to consider. A whole lot of people, groups and organizations public and private work very hard to keep people polarized and split apart, it is to their benefit to do so. It is not you against them. It is us all trying to survive and thrive.
