Procedure for payment of Traffic Challans (14-11-2014) Challans issued against traffic rules violation can be paid at Traffic Challaning Office, Sector-51, Gurgaon. 1 It is mandatory to attend a 90 minutes workshop on road safety at Road Safety Knowledge Centre (RSKC), Sector-51, Gurgaonas a first step in the process. 2 Except challans issued for No Entry and Drunken Driving, all other types of challan can be paid after 7 days from the date of challan at Traffic Challaning Office, Sector-51, Gurgaon.For challans issued against non-availability of an important document such as Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Driving License, PUC Certificate, etc., the amount of fine will be waived if the original certificate is produced at the time of challan payment. In case of impounded vehicles, other than the cases of No Entry and Drunken Driving, the challan can also be paid on the same day. It is mandatory for the vehicle owner/driver to be present at the time of challan payment. In case of non-payment of challan within three months of the date of challan, the challan will be forwarded to the court where it can be paid later. 3 For challans issued against No Entry and Drunken Driving, the challan can be paid at the court after checking the name and address of the court from the Traffic Challaning Office, Sector-51, Gurgaon. 4 In case of any issue or complaint regarding payment of challan, the same can be reported at Traffic Helpline number 9213020404 / email id:[email protected].
