Procedure to eFile Tax Audit Report: The Assessee who is required to furnish the tax Audit report for AY 2013-14 shall have to submit the tax audit report in XML Format. The Easy Steps are given below for efiling the tax audit report. (A) COP Bearer Chartered Accountants are eligible to sign the tax audit report u/s 44AB have to register themselves as Tax Professionals by using the following link:- https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Registration/RegistrationHome.html Before Registration get ready with your DigitalSignature to be role check. After Registration, you will get an Activation Link on your email id. Do click on that link to activate your login. Now, you are registered Professional and your user id will be prefix with ARCA (authorized representative CA) + your membership No. Eg. ARCA999999. (B) Assessee, who requires to get his account audited shall add CA who has to sign their tax audit Report in their Login on income tax portal. Follow as below: - Login with the Assessee’s Login & Password & DOB - Go to My Account --> Add CA – Here, you will enter the membership no of CA and the portal will automatically reflect the name of CA, if he is registered earlier. (C) Prepare the Tax Audit Report from the software and generate the XML file. CA should prepare detailed tax Audit report as prepared by them in the previous years, since the XML Audit Report is exhaustive in nature and there is no scope of Description in it. Along with above report, Final Balance Sheet And Profit & Loss A/c needs to be attached in PDF format while uploading the XML of Tax Audit report. (D) After preparing all the documents, Login to incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in portal using CA’s ID & Password as generated in step A. - Go to the Menu E-File --> Upload Forms - Submit the Required XML File & PDF File. (E) Finally, Login with the User Id & Password of Assessee, - Go to Work List --> Approve the Tax Audit Report. Here, Assessee can review the tax audit report, balance sheet and P/L A/c submitted by the CA. If Assessee rejected the documents, then the entire procedure of filing has to be start from the beginning. Do Remember to complete the whole process before due date to upload your ITR @ right time.
