Proceedings of a Board of General Officers of the British Army at New York, 1781. New York Historical Society. Although outwardly rather dry reading, this volume is very helpful in understanding the financial cost and British logistical concerns during the American Revolution. It includes reports on the changing arrangements for providing supplies, tables of personnel and dependents in the civil and military branches, and even lists of waggons and horses provided for Lord Cornwalliss expedition to the south including the names of the drivers. If anyone has a copy of the printed volume they will know that the old acid-stock paper has a consistency approaching that of stale cornflakes so its great to have access to a digital format. books.google/books?id=rHAoAAAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=1781+%22proceedings+of+a+board+of+general+officers%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=yUUDVKuJEs7ygwSKrIKYAg&ved=0CB8Q6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=1781%20%22proceedings%20of%20a%20board%20of%20general%20officers%22&f=false
