Procter & Gamble voluntarily recalled some Eukanuba and Iams dry dog foods and Iams dry cat foods produced at one facility within a 10-day period because they may be contaminated with salmonella. There have been no reported illnesses from the products, but contaminated pet food puts animals and people at risk. If animals show signs of infection, including diarrhea, fever and vomiting, they should be examined and treated by a veterinarian.
