Procurement Officer: is urgently needed for a big Printing Company Job Responsibilities: 1. Prepare purchase orders, proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. 2. Purchase the highest quality merchandise (Printing paper and other) at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. 3. Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations. 4. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the suppliers reputation and history. 5. Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. 6. Analyze price proposals, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. 7. Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories. 8. Write and review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased. 9. Formulate policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services. 10. Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. 11. Submits reports for the senior management concerning all Purchasing activities and improvements methods. Qualifications & Skills 3 – 5 years previous experience as purchasing/ procurement officer, preferred within the printing industry / Printing Paper Purchase. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Purchasing. Excellent negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
