Production time: ONE Hour 2 Minutes - without framing. For you, dear Dolly Jones I have taken photos of each Step! 1. I watered the Silk (Crinkled Chiffon 7.0) with a 50-50% distilled water and WODKA mixture, applied it with a natural sponge just wet enough no dripping! 2. Applied a mixture of fluid cold wax mixed with wodka so it is thin to spare some white area loosely in some parts, than mixed fluid cold wax with a little bit of turquise Silk PAINTS (Marabau) and dipped the brush in , spread it over without the brush touching the silk, just a little here and there 3. Used Avantgarde Orange Silk DYES agin with a feather brush loosely where I thought needed for flames, added fuchsia 4. Added Yellow Avantgard Dyes 5. Added dark Purple Paints, featherbrush. It nearly went Pear shape, surface was already to dry and the Purple seemed to kill it especially with the featherbrush now leaving a differnet pattern... Rewet with that Wodka / distilled water but this time spraying fast all over, using larger Brush and painting / brushing out the Purple, genreously in touch with the wet areas and not mixing too much with the other colours! 6. Used more orange and yellow, sprinkling it over the violet / purple knowing that there is a kind of reaction between dyes and paints... letting the colours fight and SMILE! 6. Taking photo from undernaeth the canvas and feeling happy and gay as ever! 7. Taking another photo and looking forward to your comments. Laugh. Happy END! So Dolly, what more can I say to make you start???
