Prof. Robert Reich trying to explain whats different now from past times when social movements changed government policies. I believe that if everyone understood how FDRs reforms created the Middle Class and an economic boom that lasted for 30 years, and how Republican government policies of hands off capitalism during the 1920s spawned the Great Depression, theyd vote for Progressives. Keynesian Economics got the world out of the Great Depression and it can rescue us today! The problem is that so many people still believe the failed trickle down economic theory.
