Profound sadness. Different from grief. But that feeling of a gaping chest wound where your heart is supposed to be. OK, the premise of this report is two-fold. 1) Natures wonders may disappear in our lifetime. 2) Hurry, up go see them as soon as possible. My one hope (well one of my six hopes, but more on that later) is that some of these Übergeek billionaires I mentioned the other day will find clever ways to preserve, reserve, protect, deflect and direct us before we lose it all. Before they elect to go with more extreme measures involving herd-culling and the like. Überhaul for own good they will say. Do no harm, in aggregate, planet-scale even if the medicine will hurt a bit, it is for our own good, they will say.
