Program of The Rotary Foundation at Pune on September 11, 2013 Past Rotary International President D K Lee of South Korea with his wife Mrs. Lee visited Pune to attend the program organized by The Rotary Club of Pune Sports City under the leadership of Past District Governor Dr. Mahesh Kotbagi. There were two occasions celebrated that day: 1. Charter ceremony of the first E-Club of Pune in District 3131 which marked 100th Club in the District. 2. To felicitate the major donors to The Rotary Foundation and in particular two new "Arch Klump" members who donated US dollars 2,50,000 as under: a. Rotary Ann Kavita and Rtn PP Gopal T Nihalani of Rotary Club of Pune North & b. Rtn. Radhakrishnan from Rotary Club of Chinchwad-Pune. During the celebrations I was asked to do the honors of presenting the "Puneri Pagdi" ceremoniously to the PRIP and the Chair of The Rotary Foundation D K Lee while Rotary Ann Mrs. Lee was felicitated by Rotary Ann PP Dr. Amita Kotbagi. Some of the pictures are enclosed herewith. During the program which was beautifully organized by Dr. Mahesh Kotbagi and his club Rtn. D K Lee exhorted the Rotarians to contribute to the Rotary Foundation magnificently as it is rendering yeoman services to the community world over. Click to view pictures
