Project Description: The Youth Micro-enterprise Project (YMP) is a one-month project that seeks to train 15 youth group representatives with specialized and practical marketing skills to promote their products/services. During training session, theory and different models will be presented to the participants. Training will be designed to allow participants have time to use them and discuss them in groups in relation to their own product/services-examples. The group practices the new tools and skills for promoting and marketing with a campaign case, in which brochures will be provided by Kwacha Afrika. The training content is divided into 8 sessions, 2-3 hours per session, and 4 reports sessions from August 12th to September 7th. Responsibilities: • Train 15 youth representatives with knowledge in customers, competitors, marketing mix, marketing plan, and sales and promotions • Provide case scenarios for youth members to comprehend the knowledge and assist them to conduct marketing activities on their own • Prepare and develop specialized session materials and handouts • Organize report session for sales results report, evaluation, and improvement • Write a final training report including session materials/design, evaluation, and further improvement Compensation: Kwacha Afrika will support 3000KSH per training session, totaling 24,000 KSH for the project, and 3000 KSH for a final report at the end of the training, which will contain all the training contents and material.
