Project Manager needed in Conroe, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to $85k DOE. P ROJECT MANAGER GENERAL PURPOSE To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the planning/implementation of projects • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables • Define project tasks and resource requirements • Develop full scale project plans • Assemble and coordinate project staff • Manage project budget • Manage project resource allocation • Plan and schedule project timelines • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools • Provide direction and support to project team • Quality assurance • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs • Project evaluations and assessment of results REQUIRMENTS • 2 years minimum project management experience in a similar field • 2 years minimum experience reviewing, correcting, and managing the work of structural and/or electrical designers • 2 years minimum experience creating, checking electrical layouts and schematics for power control buildings, power distribution equipment or other similar application • Ability to manage, track and supervise multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining complex schedules and acting the main point of contact with the customer/end-user • Experience navigating approval processes for engineered products • Experience maintaining and tracking vendor equipment schedules • Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, writing skills and ability to meet/manage aggressive deadlines • Demonstrates high skill level, speed and fluency in AutoCAD • Familiarity with all requirements for NEC code compliance • Experience creating cable tray layouts • Ability to size power cable and conduit • Ability to size over current protection for transformers • Hands on electrician experience is a plus SPECIFIC SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • Knowledge of NEC (cable/conduit sizing, electrical clearances) • AutoCAD (2D) • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) & Acrobat • Ability to type 40 WPM minimum EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE • 2 year Associate degree; or combination of education and experience • 2+ years experience in manufacturing environment in a Project Management role • Strong people-leadership skills required • Must be able to multi-task and manage time proficiently • Ability to resolve conflict in an efficient and timely manner • Must have excellent interpersonal and computer skills Qualified applicants only please send resumes to: careers@staffing-texas
