Project Worker We provide a range of environments for those who need extra support to live independently, from young people and those with disabilities, to the elderly in extra care schemes. Our strength lies in the quality of our people and we employ those who share our aims PROJECT WORKER ST IVES ROAD, WESTON SUPER MARE, NORTH SOMERSET £8.74 PER HOUR 39 HOURS PER WEEK We are looking for an individual with passion and drive to provide person centred support, enabling our clients with a range of complex needs to achieve their potential and live more independently within their community. Ideally, you will have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs. We are looking for candidates who pride themselves on having excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will use your skills to work with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcome for our clients. This will include regular key working, support planning, as well as working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as advocate when required. You will also be willing to work early and late shifts, as well as sleep-ins if required. We will look to you to help clients maximise their income, budget, pay their rent and engage with work and training. Initiative will also be key to your success, as you will be required to source innovative solutions to problems that allow residents independence to be maximised. Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence is desirable.
