Proper Quarantine: Keep birds 100yds from where any bird from your existing flock can get to. Watch for 2 weeks. If no signs of illness then add 1 bird from your existing stock for another 2 weeks. If the new birds get sick then your existing flock is carriers of something your new birds have not been exposed to. If the bird from your existing flock gets sick then the new birds are carriers of something your flock has not seen. If everyone is still fine after the 2nd set fo 2 weeks then its time to look at introduction methods. Anything short of this method is considered improper. So now most see it is more than just quarantine for 30 days. Hope this helps folks out. Thanks Aaron Arndt!
