Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan This proposal is about turning the vision for Auckland to become the worlds most liveable city into reality. The proposal - which is accessible in NZSL videos at seeflow.co.nz/cp - covers things such as explaining what type of houses can be built where, and what spaces are for sporting & recreational use. Auckland Council are receiving submissions from the public for this, with 28 February 2014 being the closing date. This is an important stage of the Plan: to ensure your future participation in submissions and hearings, you must make a submission in this stage. If you do not participate now, you miss your opportunity to participate in future stages of refining the Unitary Plan. Auckland Council is dedicated to make this Plan as accessible as possible, and make it easy for Deaf people to participate. They are allowing Deaf people to submit their feedback in NZSL via Seeflow (seeflow.co.nz/direct)
