Proud to meet Doug again, Logistics Chief on the Tyonek fire. We both lived in the village of Basse in the Gambia as #PeaceCorps Volunteers in the late 80s. We exchanged a few mandinka greetings before the briefing began in Palmer this morning. Very impressed by the coordination, competence and commitment of firefighters.
