Proudly I say. despite my track record of being in abusive/exploitive relationships.... I have broken that record.... since mid-march of 2o13, I have not had an abusive boyfriend or husband, and I lived alone. With the prior boost/help of my older son and his wife...before the final breakup with the fiance.... . I was able to return to college. I had the Associate Degree in Liberal Studies from the local community college. When I was staying with them temporarily, I went to the college to find out that I had 91 college credits left. It would take 12o to obtain a Bachelor Degree. I thought I need to go on, it would be unwise to stop then when I was so close. I did go back to college. I now need 4 more classes to get the Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies, with concentration in Psychology. Though I got to the limit of the Pell grants and subsidized student loans... {financial aid 4 college}, I still am closer to the Bachelor degree than I was.... and I thank my son Robert Reynolds and his wife Nichole Elizabeth Reynolds for that boost I got. I have skimped, scraped, sometimes almost starved my way since ... through those college semesters. And even worked hard , getting the overall grade point average almost up to a 3.0. This being when long ago I had been academically barred from that same college for not being able to get good enough grades.... DUE TO THE TBI ... Now I have to be patient, and wait, to be able to finish college, due to the lack of financial aid. But if I do get to finish... I hope , 4 now, to go on to get a Masters Degree... not sure what in..criminal justice related field, beginning a nonprofit that helps raise awareness about domestic violence {against both men and women} ?, some ideas I have cannot be shared,... due to the need to be discreet and safe.
