Proverb of the day - smoke in the eyes Proverbs 10:26 “As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.” Vinegar has an extremely sour and repugnant taste in the mouth. Smoke is an incredible aggravation to the eyes. A sluggish employee is a terrible grief to his boss. The rebellious child can be an appalling heartache to a parent. A believer living in sin or lethargy can be an incredible anguish to God. That’s why the Word of God says, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30. 5-23-2014 Pastor Wilson
