Proverbs 15:11 (Msg) Even hell holds no secrets from God— do you think he can’t read human hearts? Sometimes our vulnerabilities are such that we simply are too afraid to reveal them for the fear of having them being exploited or entrusting them to someone who could crush us with them. So, we build walls around them, a suit of armour to shield us from possible harm. We learn to deflect, avoid, control, and hide from those who might expose and harm us. But, when we come before God...these tactics just dont work. He knows us so well, knows every internal hidden secret. We are fools if we think we can deflect and distract the eyes of God from the truth buried deep within us. Out of grace, mercy and love, he tenderly draws us closer to Him, showing us we can trust Him so healing can take place. But, in saying this, it also takes that one leap of faith from us to allow Him to uncover and bear naked our fragile vulnerabilities. We can run and hide all our lives, or we can trust Him with the most tender parts of us - the choice is ours...either way...He knows.
