Proverbs 15. The power of words 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath. Harsh words stir anger. 15:2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge. But the mouth of a fool pours out folly. 15:4 A gentle tongue is the tree of life. 15:5 A fool despises his fathers teaching. 15:7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge not so the heart of a fool. The ability to control the tongue and use it properly is the key to relationships with spouses, children, family members and fellow workers. It is also key to our relationship with God.
