Psalm 18v29 (AMP) For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. Greetings Childen of God I hope we are all well.I a was taking a sabbatical now I am back.As we are approaching the end of the year lets have time to reflect on our achievements or failures for 2014 I know many of us had written our years RESOLUTION i.e the things we wanted to achieve in this year.Some of us managed to achieve and some of us we failed. Lets take a look at what the scripture is saying,It says by you Lord or when I am with you Lord, some versions says with the Lords strenght I can conquer armies.This version says I can run thru a troop, a troop is made up of 1000 soldier then the scripture say I can run thru a troop. It went on to say I can leap over a wall.Lets look at how they use to build walls back then.Back then cities were surrounded with wall and these walls were their protection the defence from enemies.So these wall were high and the width they say two chariots would pass each other (kupesana) so we can say two cars.Thats how wide it was. Now the writer is sayin I can run through a troop i.e conquer a troop and leap over a wall when I am with you LORD.It means that with that Lord we can achieve more than we can if we are alone.With the Lord we can achieve over and above what we can with our own strenght.Isnt this amazing.The writer of the Psalm using words like run thru and leap suggesting that it becames an easy task wn we have the Lord with us. So let include the Lord in our plans in whatever we want to achieve in 2015.Lets Achieve Over And Above.So with our little strenght when we have the Lord its AMPLIFIED into tremedous POWER.AMEN
