Psalm 95:7 says, For He is our God & we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if you will hear His voice ... harden not your heart ... JESUS is The Good Shepherd ... but sheep dont always listen to (or OBEY) HIS voice - unsuspecting sheep listen to religious/church traditions or charismatic leaders or favorite popular mega-preachers & thats where sheep jeopardize their spiritual safety ... as sheep, we can be stubborn, gullible, easily influenced by a leader who is a hireling, have very little discernment in choosing (spiritual) food or water, creatures of habit (loving our ruts), and need rod-and-staff guidance, particularly when we insist on our own rebellious way! Sheep will wander off in one of two directions: either TOWARD the Cross (i.e.,The Good Shepherd) or AWAY from it! in which group are YOU??? are you hearing the Voice of The Good Shepherd & following HIM? OR ... are you rummaging in spiritual garbage bins, indiscriminately eating leaven (false doctrine) from corrupt teachers that will point you AWAY from The Truth & into the hands of the enemy of your soul?? Are you DISsatisfied with the True Bread which The Good Shepherd gives?? When many of the disciples (sheep) of JESUS turned AWAY from walking with Him, He asked the Twelve if they also would walk away ... to which Peter answered with a Profound Statement that resonates to each of us even TODAY ... Lord, to whom shall we go? YOU have the words of Eternal Life! ~to GOD be the Glory!!~
