Psychiatry is a malpractice and should be terminated in the light of human values. Psychiatry exploits the same potential that lies at the basis of God-religions: the human inability to define the meaning of life, however, with the pretense that life has no meaning and that human emotions and behavior (the human mind) is the result of chemical processes in the brains. With simple logic the foundation of psychiatry can be invalidated. The physical simply cannot form the basis of itself. You cannot stand above life as being life because when you try to so you work in the wrong direction resulting in a figurative stone that sinks into the ocean of time. Fixed state brain treatment or a medical approach to the human mind is nonsensical and logically leads to an escalation of the problems. Arjan Dokelaar
