Public Achievement are hosting in collaboration with an international partner Dr Jerry Stein, Senior Fellow at university of Minnesota and Founder of Learning Dreams. Jerry has been working for many years to reconnect communities with learning and education. His research shows that if a community can re-engage homes, families and community centres with learning there is an overall improvement in educational success. Learning Dreams has been a catalyst for development within a range of community settings across in America and we are excited to see if any of the opportunities will work here in Northern Ireland. There is more information on the Learning Dreams website:- learningdreams.org Dr Stein will be in N.Ireland for one week and we are delighted that he has agreed to host a learning dreams seminar for a range of stakeholders within the youth and community sector.
