But with all of the winter holiday to-dos and fewer daylight hours, this fun time of year can also be draining. Rituals can help us to remember that life, like the sun, is cycling itself to rebound with strength. We can recognize the solstice by lighting a candle or burning a Yule log, in keeping with ancient traditions at this powerful moment of annual turning. It’s a time to seek warmth by surrounding ourselves with friends and family dear to our hearts. Esoterically, we honor the Divine-Within as we re-kindle the Light and pour forth blessings to all of humanity. At the Winter Solstice, we pause as the entire planet is bathed in the Love-Light of the Christ; may this Light be recognized by all of humanity as we move further into the Aquarian Age. The ACSC will celebrate Winter Solstice on Sunday, December 22nd at 5 p.m…please join us! Potluck to follow the ritual. Teddy Bear Collection… Calling all bears! You are invited to bring a NEW medium size bear/stuffed animal to our Winter Solstice celebration. Consider getting your bear now and energetically working with it during your private time of prayer and meditation…hug it and fill it with love! Then, bring your bear to our Winter Solstice Celebration and hug/love it up during the ceremony. If you cant join us for Winter Solstice and want to participate, you may mail your love-filled bear to 2212 Oakwood Ave, Bentonville, AR 72712. Our love-filled bears will be donated to the Children’s Advocacy Center. Bears will be delivered on Monday, December 23rd. What a fun and wonderful way to spread our Light and Love this Holiday Season! Please also join us for Christmas Day Aquarian Mass at 3:00 p.m., followed by Christmas coffee, tea and cookies! May the joy of this wonderful season radiate from your heart to all those you connect with – may we each be a blessing to all those we meet in our daily life. __________________oOo__________________ Retreat Update · Our October retreat has been postponed, not cancelled. An email will be sent when the new time is selected! __________________oOo__________________ Many Blessings, +Tom and the Aquarian Catholic Spiritual Community Board of Directors (Becky, Dorie and Scott)
