Public policies have a strong bearing on the development of any state in terms of nature of development and pace. In that regard one can say Zimbabwe is a victim of circumstances as development is now the the context of development of underdevelopment. My wish is to see Zimbabwe rising from the dust of the old mediocrity, arrogance and Machiavellian-ism. It is us the willing present generation who have mandate to liberate ourselves from the scrounging hands of policies of poverty and one good method is informed policy analysis. Through policy analysis bad policies are noted from the infancy and this time we have to advocate and lobby for blocking of such policies.
