Publix Miami VP and my direct boss, Bill, of 17 years retired today after working 47 years with Publix. Bittersweet day for a lot of us. He ended his career today at Store #056 (Lighthouse Point) where he started 47 years ago. It was great watching him as he bagged groceries and talked to the customers. It was so nice to see the RD, DMs, Staff Associates and his sons participate in his last working day at Publix! He will surely be missed! He is a great boss and a wonderful person! He was a big part of our Publix family! Wishing him the best in his retirement! He well deserves to enjoy this next chapter in his life! Thanks Bill for everything you have done for me and my family!
